Business owners and executives from privately held companies attended events this week hosted by Vistage (Vistage) in southern California. Vistage is a leading global peer to peer executive development organization and invited Larry O'Toole to keynote their events with his topic, "Strategic Planning That Grows Company Worth".
Participants represented businesses in manufacturing and service industries and praised the session for the practical and insightful insights that O'Toole shared. One participant commented, "when I saw the topic for this event I considered not attending because I hate doing strategic planning. But now I feel energized because of the new way Larry has me defining what strategic planning is and because of the many actionable tools he provided us. Now I'm actually anxious to get back to the office and start using what I've learned."
Mr. O'Toole shares practical and actionable strategic thinking and planning insights with business owners and key executives to help them build their company worth and strengthen as leaders. O'Toole shared, "many executives don't like leading their teams in strategic planning and it often starts with their not having a solid repeatable and scalable model and approach for how they build their plan. So each time they approach doing it, they do it differently and therefore never build a solid thinking, planning and execution muscle."
Another participant offered - "I never gave much consideration to the difference between driving my revenue and profit versus driving my company worth. This session opened my eyes to a new strategic level that I can see now I sorely needed."
